Mango Veneered Panels & Jointed Veneer
Mango is a fast-growing tree that can reach 35m in height, and is probably best well-known by most people as a fruit tree. Although originally found predominantly in India, the evergreen mango tree is now also grown commercially for timber in many tropical & sub-tropical regions of south-east Asia.
Mango is not often of a quality suitable for conversion to veneer in panel & door length, so the timber is probably more widely known to the public in the form of solid furniture. When such veneer quality logs are found however, the reddish brown colour and darker stripey markings give a beautiful finish, offering this veneer as an excellent option for a project where a more unusual veneer is desired.
